The art of innovation

1 Desire to make meaning as opposed to make money. Make meaning - education can change people's life. Navitas professional service provides many kinds of education, such as professional training, and English learning. But the tuition fee is not affordable for all people. The idea of making meaning instead of making money inspires me to advise Navitas to provide some free training courses to attract more customers. 2 Make a mantra. Don't make a mission statement. Navitas - best education provider 3 Jump curves. Not to stay on the same stupid curves that you're on. Do not limit Navitas to the field of education. Those who can not jump the curves because they define themselves in terms of what they do, but not the benefits they provide. We aim to make people more competitive in the workplace, and competitiveness means a lot. Not only education can make people competitive, so we can consider other things as well. 4 Roll the dicee. Inspiring Innovation

In traditional way of cooking, even cheifs may make some mistakes because it is difficult for people to control the temperature of cookwares. However, Meld, an automatic temperature cooking controling system can do it well. It can easily adjust the temperature based on the data received from Meld clip - which is attached to the cookware. Using Meld, cheif can control the temperature perfectly and automatically. This innovated product inspires me because we can also use its principle to manage students. For example, when studuents come to Navitas, some similar machines can check that and help them to sign in automatically. In doing so, trainers do not need to call every students' names to ensure them have attended the courses. Another example is that we can adjust the tempertature of air conditioners in the classroom automatically.  Here is the link to  7 Awesome Inventions You Didn't Know Existed.  You may get more ideas after watching it. ✔7 Awesome Inventions You Didn't...

How to stay calm when you know you'll be stressed The video I watched is  Daniel Levitin's  How to stay calm when you know you'll be stressed. The main points are the following: You're not at your best when you're stressed. In fact, your brain has evolved over millennia to release cortisol in stressful situations, inhibiting rational, logical thinking but potentially helping you survive, say, being attacked by a lion.  When you're under stress, the brain releases cortisol.  Cortisol is toxic, and it causes cloudy thinking.  So part of the practice of the pre-mortem  is to recognize that under stress you're not going to be at your best,  and you should put systems in place. The idea of the pre-mortem is to think ahead of time  to the questions that you might be able to ask  that will push the conversation forward.  I think the important point here is recognizing that all of us are flawed.  We all are going to fail now an...
